Are you halfway into writing a novel and feeling stuck? Do you have a draft of a novel but are unsure what to do next? Are you an experienced writer looking for feedback on your new project? In this 4-week revision class, writers will work with author Lauren Nossett on the most important part of writing: rewriting. We'll discuss getting to the core of our novels, world building, knowing our characters, killing our darlings, strong beginnings, and satisfying endings, all while giving and receiving feedback on our works in progress. Writers will leave this workshop with a revised first chapter, revision techniques, and tools to finish their revision.

What Our Students Say

"Lauren gave me clear, actionable, supportive feedback every step of the way. She was generous in sharing her experience as a professional novelist. I emerged from this workshop with a much clearer vision of how I could improve my manuscript in a major way."

"I’d finished the first few drafts of my novel and then thought 'now what?' This course on revision was so helpful in improving my story, and the last class about finding an agent was so helpful. Loved Lauren and this class!"

"This class opened up a completely new way of thinking and writing for me. I would highly recommend this class and Lauren to anyone working on revision."
