Finishing a first draft is a great feeling. But that sense of accomplishment soon fades and you’re left with a daunting question: What to do with this thing now? In this class, intended for writers of short fiction and narrative nonfiction, we’ll take a practical look at revision. In the first hour, we’ll discuss important topics like narrative structure, retroactive outlining, time, and point of view. In the second hour, you’ll begin to apply these techniques to your own work. The goal is for each member of the class to come away with specific steps for launching into that next draft.

"Andrew was great! Personable and engaging, he kept a solid tempo for the time we had and allowed for a lot of captivating discussion."
