Every meal tells a story. Together as a class, we will explore the deliciously diverse world of food writing. You might be interested in getting involved in the journalistic world of food/restaurant reviews, or you could want to learn how to write rich, sensory-driven prose that makes readers taste, smell, and savor every detail. We will translate flavors into words and capture the emotions behind a meal. Applicable to all genres of writing, whether it be fiction, nonfiction, or poetry, this class is for anyone looking to exercise their palette and perfect their food narratives!

In-Class Writing Lift: Light

Homework: None

Workshopping Drafts: Optional
