As writers and parents, how do we balance the demands this dual role places on our time, attention, and energy? In this short lunch hour session, we will explore how creative and domestic labor can complement and nourish one another, despite often seeming to be in competition. Participants will discover new strategies for cultivating conditions under which writing and caregiving can optimize each other and leave with a bibliography of sources that address the struggle to pursue both simultaneously.
